Laura Schopen
Professional education and credentials
Laura has a BA in psychology from Saint Martins University in Lacey, Washington, and a MS degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Prior to retiring, she worked in various companies, including eBay Inc for 13 years as a community development manager and a software company in Seattle for 8 years in IT and sales. She also served as a hospice volunteer in Washington state and hospice volunteer coordinator in Reno.
Laura was born in the Black Hills of South Dakota and finished elementary through high school in Reno, NV. She has also lived in Seattle, San Jose, Colorado, and Salt Lake City. In 2015, she moved back to Reno where she lives with her dad, her husband, and her two 20-something sons.

Laura's first formal part-time practice was in hypnosis in Washington state from 2007 thru 2012 while she still held a corporate job. Laura has retired from corporate work, and her current practice opened in 2019 in Reno, NV where she incorporates Holy Fire Reiki, Reiki classes, Client-Centered Hypnotherapy, Angel readings, and Spiritual mentoring/coaching.
